  1. Social media

Social media plugins with Shariff

On our pages plugins are used by social media (eg Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram, Pinterest, XING, LinkedIn, Tumblr).

Only when you activate the respective plugin by clicking the corresponding button, a direct connection to the server of the provider is established (consent). As soon as you activate the plugin, the respective provider receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. If you are simultaneously logged into your respective social media account (eg Facebook), the respective provider can assign the visit to our pages to your user account.

The activation of the plugin constitutes a consent within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO. You can revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future.

The processing of the data entered into the newsletter registration form takes place exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). The granted consent to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and their use for sending the newsletter can be revoked at any time, for example via the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter. The legality of the already completed data processing operations remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you have stored with us for the purpose of acquiring the newsletter will be saved by us from the newsletter until your cancellation and will be deleted after unsubscribing the newsletter. Data stored for other purposes with us remain unaffected.

The information generated by these cookies, such as the time, location and frequency of your website visit, including your IP address, is transmitted to Google in the United States and stored there.

We use Google Analytics on our website with an IP anonymization feature. In this case, your IP address will already be shortened and thus anonymised by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area.

Google will use this information to evaluate your use of our site, to compile reports on our website activity, and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties if required by law or as far as third parties process this data on behalf of Google.

Google does not claim to link your IP address to any other data provided by Google. You can prevent the installation of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we point out that in this case you may not be able to fully use all functions of our website.

The IP address submitted as part of "reCAPTCHA" will not be merged with any other data provided by Google unless you are logged in to your Google Account at the time you use the "reCAPTCHA" plug-in.
