Since 2012, we have held our traditional Christmas Eve dinner for the children's foundation "Die Arche" (The Ark). Here, we serve a classic Christmas menu to families in need at lunchtime.
With festive live music and a visit from Santa Claus (played every year by the German actor and Arche ambassador Tim Wilde), we create a contemplative atmosphere in the festively decorated hall and ensure that children's eyes light up.
After the traditional Christmas caroling – featuring Arche founder Bernd Siggelkow, among others – each child receives a beautifully wrapped gift.
For us at Hofbräu Wirtshaus Berlin, it's a thank you to all Berliners. We launched this campaign to give something back and, together with ARCHE, to reach families who would otherwise be without a Christmas dinner.
All gifts are donations from our guests or companies and are also diligently collected by the Arche Angels

The children's brunch with Christian Bahrmann
…a day dedicated to a good cause!
Every second Sunday of Advent, the pre-Christmas children's brunch with "Christian" takes place on our upper floor. Christian is an actor and puppeteer, presenter, and, as Kikaninchen's best friend, one of the most famous and successful faces of KiKA, the children's channel of ARD and ZDF.
In addition to a colorful dance and participatory program by and with Christian, the team of the “Phantastische Kinderkiste”
For lots of fun, there's a Christmas-themed craft corner and colorful glitter tattoos. There's also a large play area.
On this day, gift donations can be made for the Arche Christmas dinner.
Brunch buffet: 24,90 € per person
Children up to 3 years: free of charge
4 to 10 years: €7,90 per person
From 11 years: full price

Donate gifts – here’s how it works:
We collect gifts for the children cared for by the Arche throughout the pre-Christmas period and at the children's brunch. The gifts we receive will be presented to the children on Christmas Eve at the Hofbräu Berlin during the Arche's traditional Christmas dinner.
If you would like to donate a gift, please bring it to us wrapped and clearly mark it with “boy” or “girl” and the appropriate age group.
